Sepal are proud to offer a new option for babies with complex feeding needs.
A simple system - adaptable to your needs

An uncomplicated assembly
When we asked for feedback, from experienced users of cleft feeding systems, the strong message was "Keep it simple"!
So we listened and created a one-way valve, a disc to fit between the existing Sepal teat and bottle, that is loved by health professionals.

A flexible bottle - allowing you to support feeding
To offer the maximum support to babies with complex feeding needs, the addition of the Sepal Squeezy bottle allows the caregiver to provide additional support. By flexing the ergonomic bottle, liquid can be released into the teat barrel to assist the baby to feed by compressing the teat.

A convenient one-way valve
We have created a one-way valve that fits in all Sepal teats.
- It is clearly labelled so you know which way is up.
- The valve is similar in size to a 50c piece to reduce the chances of misplacing it.
- The valve alters the normal function of the unique Sepal teat so that suction isn't required. Instead, your baby can now successfully feed by compressing the Sepal teat.

Unmatched range of teat flow rates
The Sepal teat range caters for premature babies up to toddlers. Our range of 13 teats offers numerous alternatives to meet your baby's specific needs.
Select a size that suits your baby's mouth (Extra Small, Small, Medium or Large) - allowing for any orthodontic appliances that may be required.
Then select a flow rate in that range that supports you baby's feeding ability.
The ‘Sepal’ Specialty Feeding System

Why create another cleft feeding product?
Australian health professionals and parents of children born with a cleft, told us
- Specialty bottle systems can be extremely expensive
- replacement parts hard to access for products made overseas
- some products only offer one or two teat options
- other products don't offer a squeezy bottle
- valves are fiddly and difficult to assemble
What is different about the Sepal product?
Our cleft feeding system address these concerns
- valve fits all 13 teats
- valve works with Sepal squeezy bottle and/or rigid bottle
- valve clearly labelled to show how to position on the bottle
- replacement parts are easily accessible
- Sepal products are manufactured in Australia
- Sepal products are available to purchase online or from stockists
- when your baby can generate suction to feed, simply remove valve and continue using the standard system.
