Large Teats for big babies

Sepal designed this range of teats to suit babies who are well established with their feeding. The Large teat is our biggest teat and was designed to be comfortable in your growing baby's mouth (suitable for babies between 8 - 12+ months) with contours that follow the shape of their mouth to support better feeding.

To meet your baby's individual needs, there are multiple options of flow rate to choose from, depending on their feeding behaviour/ skill.

Our General Use Teat for babies aged between 8 - 12+ months is the Large Teat Fast Flow.

If that is too fast, you can select the Reduced Feed Teat - Large Teat Medium Flow. The Reduced Feed teat is often recommended for those babies who need support, like pacing and positioning to slow the feed down. It gives them more time to coordinate swallowing the liquid whilst safely managing their breathing. We also suggest a Reduced Feed Teat to mothers who are combining breast feeding and bottle feeding.

How to correctly position teat

Select your teat
Tighten teat to Sepal bottle to create correct venting
Sepal teat collar will then line up with measurement on the bottle
Make sure the size symbol is positioned under your baby's nose so the teat contours are comfortable
